Image Portfolio
In a digital/print imaging class, I was asked to create an 11 x 15 poster to advertise the musical artist of my choice who would appear at RIT. I chose the late Bob Marley. Using a famous picture of the man, I used various tools to produce a large-format image which was printed out and displayed at RIT.

In a digital/print imaging class, I was asked to take a common object (in this case, a thumbtack/pushpin) and create a hand-drawing. Using the drawing, I was to translate it to a vector drawing using Adobe Illustrator. Then, using the vector, I was to create a logo for a company. I created a logo for a company called "Pushpin's", an office supplier, comparable to Staples or OfficeMax. I created two versions, both of which I like a lot, so I have both listed.

In a digital imaging class, I was tasked with creating a storyboard for a new TV show. I could pick the theme and title of this show. I had to take some of the pictures using a DSLR camera (others sourced from Flickr) and edit them appropriately. The target resolution was 1920x1080 (1080p). The show is called "Motorheads", a show related to automobiles which would air on Discovery.

I was asked to take several pictures of any location using a DSLR camera. Using these pictures, I had to evoke opposite moods using RAW and composition within Photoshop. I used an office building on New York State Route 252 (a.k.a. West Henrietta Road). Using Photoshop technologies, I altered the images to a point where one is extremely happy and the other extremely depressing.

Converging between digital imaging and web design, I was asked to create a web design focused on a "404 Not Found" error page of a site. I created a standard and alternate version—one more serious and one more light-hearted. The project was a lesson in both site design and using Photoshop to convert layouts into code.
