Hartville Church of Christ is a church located in Northeast Ohio. I was tasked with creating a website for them to replace their aging content-management-system. I delivered a robust, dynamic site with Wordpress using CSS3 for great-looking design. The site is updatable by church staff with no knowledge of coding and it works great across browsers and mobile. The Church can easily change content and appearance on the fly.

Cheri's Special Affairs is a wedding and event planner based in Mentor, Ohio. I was asked to replace the site's old, static GeoCities page with a modern design. I created a site which fits the theme of a wedding planner, which can be updated through a custom administrative login script.

Firestone High School is a public high school located in Akron, Ohio. I attended this school and was enrolled in the Information Technology class. As part of the program, I was tasked with creating a new site for the school to replace its previous site, which was created using FrontPage in the 1990s. I worked on this project throughout my high school career, beginning as a freshman. I won a NEOSA CoolTech Challenge Scholarship for this website.

Do It Later is a site I created as a freshman in high school. The purpose of the site is to entertain viewers with Flash games, videos, and pictures, thus encouraging them to do it ("it" being work) later. The site was created for the NEOSA CoolTech Challenge. I won a NEOSA CoolTech Challenge Scholarship for this website.

What the Bullet Sang is a poem written by Bret Harte. For my Intro to Web Dev. class at RIT, I was tasked with styling this poem as a webpage. I tried to evoke the feeling of the poem while maintaining a modern/digital overtone. I did this by contrasting colors and utilizing imagery from the poem. This site is also a demo of basic JavaScript we learned in the class as well as the use of CSS3 and Google Web Fonts.

The RIT Enquirer was a group task assigned in my Intro to Web Dev. class at RIT. The goal was to use graphics provided by the professor to create a faux magazine cover and convert it to a webpage. This was done using Adobe Photoshop and Notepad++. The magazine is a mixed satire/parody of "The National Enquirer" and "The Reporter", a magazine at RIT. This project is a demo of the first steps of converting a .PSD to a webpage.

One of the first tasks in my Intro to Web Dev. class was to replicate a site layout three times using differing techniques in the CSS. We had to create a three-column site. Once using absolute positioning, another using floating, and a third using CSS3 auto-columns. I am presenting the floating version as a demo because I think it is the most effective solution for a three column layout. It is dynamic, unlike absolute positioning, and doesn't break the content flow when resizing, like CSS3. This version also has a JavaScript demo from the class.
